Are You For Real?
People ask us all the time if Movie Poster Archives is for real. It’s hard to believe that a small nonprofit has over 3 million artifacts and actually sells the extras that don’t meet preservation criteria in a brick-and-mortar gallery in a shopping center in Gretna, Louisiana. IT’S ALL TRUE!

MPA was founded in 2016 by movie poster experts and a retired Hollywood executive. It’s located in Gretna because that’s home and a great place to live. You may ask why is the gallery in Belle Meade Center? Our local thrift giant Red, White & Blue is almost next door and Ultimate Games is nearby. Collectors and film industry professionals love to thrift (think props and costumes). The demographic for games and posters have a huge overlap.
So, yep, we’re for real.
